My electric scooter won’t start
The issue could come from the battery, controller, or dashboard.
Most of the time, it will be the battery!
In this case, check if the wires connected to these components are not disconnected or if there has been overheating.
Regarding the battery, it may be damaged due to: a bad fall, driving on rough terrain, use on wet surfaces, or prolonged contact with water.
My electric scooter vibrates when I accelerate
The issue comes from the stem axis, specifically the loosening of the stem bolt. This vibration intensifies, especially when climbing, and the scooter may start making noise.
To fix it, use a wrench to tighten the stem bolt.
If the problem persists due to wear, you will need to reinforce the stem axis.

You will find 2 types of solutions to permanently reduce stem vibrations
The charger light won’t turn on
The issues mentioned above can damage the battery. However, before concluding this, check if the problem isn’t caused by the charger itself.
The charger’s output voltage may be lower than the required voltage level (in volts). In this case, it is likely a charger issue.
The motor of my electric scooter smells like burnt plastic
The burnt smell comes from the plastic insulation and wires connected to the motor. This means the motor has overheated and a short circuit has occurred.
You may have used it at full power or accelerated vigorously during climbs.
In this case, the solution is to replace the motor directly.
I can no longer read the display on the LCD screen
Check the battery level—if the battery is dead or if the connector wires are not making good contact.
After checking and confirming no issue, turn off the screen for a few minutes, then restart.
Then charge the device. If there is no improvement, it is best to replace the dashboard.
How to maintain your electric scooter
Good maintenance will help you avoid frequent repairs. Repairs can be costly, especially if you need to replace components. Additionally, repeated repairs over time can damage your machine and reduce its efficiency. Regular inspection of various attachment points Tightening the screws on your electric scooter can eliminate play in the gears. For example, on the handlebar, just on the clamp, tighten the screws once a month. Additionally, if you notice play between the rear wheel and the platform or between the front wheel and the fork, tighten the bolts connecting these components immediately. If you don’t act in time, the play will cause eccentric wear and rapid deterioration of the wheels.
Clean regularly
It is recommended to clean your electric scooter at least once a month (or more if you notice dust, silt, or other debris accumulating). This habit helps remove residue that could interfere with its operation. Use a soft cloth to wipe down the parts. Do not wash with large amounts of water or spray with a hose. For the tires, you can dampen a sponge without splashing.
Maintain the battery
This is the heart of the scooter. Its performance and lifespan depend on it. Therefore, it’s best to take good care of it.
Charge it before it is completely empty. Do not interrupt the charging process. Avoid exposing the battery to water, dust contamination, or prolonged sunlight.
