6902 2RS bearing for electric scooter steering arms

Standard-sized deep-groove ball bearing: 15 mm bore, 28 mm outer diameter, 7 mm width. It is also known as 61902-2RS, which refers to exactly the same bearing.

Sealing

The suffix 2RS means that the bearing is sealed by two rubber seals on both sides. This is essential for a steering arm: the part is exposed to rain, splashes and brake dust, and an open bearing or one with metal flanges will not last in this position.

Reassembly

The steering arm usually houses two bearings. Replace them in pairs, even if only one shows play: the remaining one has the same mileage and will fail shortly afterwards. Remove the old bearing using a bearing puller or a brass jet, and press the new one in, applying pressure only to the outer ring — never to the inner ring, as this would transmit the force through the balls and damage the raceways.
