Size and equivalents
The 70/65-6.5 is also designated 10x2.75-6.5 or 255x70: 6.5 inch rim (165 mm). All three notations refer to the same tyre.
Note that the 6.5 inch rim is not interchangeable with the 6 inch. This is the leading cause of error in this family: the 10x2.75-6.5 and the 10x3.0-6 look similar in designation but do not fit the same wheel.
Reinforced casing
The structure carries additional plies compared with the standard version. It resists punctures, kerb impacts and pinching at low pressure better.
This is the version to offer for intensive use, heavy loads, or a customer who keeps coming back to the workshop. In return, it is heavier and firmer.
Tubeless fitment
Fitted without an inner tube, on an airtight rim only. Replace the tubeless valve at the same time to guarantee the seal, and add sealant if the use requires it.
Sold individually, fits front or rear.
