Size
8.5x2 inner tube for a 134 mm rim. This size fits the Zero 8 and Zero 9 among others. The rubber adapts to a range of widths around 2 inches.
The 8.5x2 comes in three rim diameters
This is the key point on this size: the 8.5x2 fits rims of 134, 140 or 156 mm depending on the machine. A tube made for a 134 mm rim will be too small on a 156 mm one, and too large the other way round.
Check the rim diameter before ordering. The size alone is not enough.
45x45° valve
The valve is angled at 45 degrees on both segments. This angle is dictated by the rim and mudguard geometry: it gives access to the valve with an inflator head where a straight valve would be unreachable.
A 45x45° valve does not replace a straight valve, nor a 90x90°.
Fitting
Sold individually. Inflate the tube slightly before inserting it into the tyre to avoid folds, and make sure it is not pinched between the bead and the rim before bringing it up to pressure.
