Electrical characteristics

The motor operates at 72 volts and delivers 2000 W in nominal power, for 3480 W at peak. The VSETT 11+ being a dual-motor machine, the combined nominal power of the two wheels reaches 4000 W. Check that your controller accepts the peak current draw before proceeding with the replacement.

Connection

The wiring harness measures 100 cm, which is sufficient to reach the controller without an extension on an original assembly. The three phases connect via eyelet terminals on a three-post terminal block, supplied with the motor: two-piece terminal block, three base nuts and two mounting screws are included. This type of connection better withstands the current than a pin connector and can be cleanly disassembled in the workshop.

Assembly

Identify the direction of rotation before tightening: a motor installed backwards will run in reverse and disrupt the controller's feedback. Tighten the axle nuts to the manufacturer's recommended torque and check the cable routing so that it does not rub against the fork or the swingarm.

Compatibility

Reference intended for the VSETT 11+ in 72 V. The front wheel of the same model is the subject of a separate reference, available in the catalog SP-1816.
