Honeycomb structure
The main criticism of solid tires is their rigidity. This model features hexagonal cavities all around: the rubber deforms under load and provides some of the shock absorption of an inflatable tire, without the risk of punctures.
This is the compromise to offer a customer who refuses a solid tire for comfort reasons.

Mounting a solid tire on a rim requires strength or a machine: the complete wheel eliminates the process and replaces the bearings with new ones.
