Size and rim

The 8.5x2-6.1 fits a 6.1 inch rim (156 mm). This is the fitment of the Xiaomi M365 family and machines built on the same base.

The 8.5x2 comes in two rim diameters

This is the key point on this size. The 8.5x2 fits two different rims depending on the machine:

8.5x2-6.1 — 156 mm rim, Xiaomi and Dualtron Mini family
8.5x2-5.5 — 140 mm rim, Zero and Vsett family

A tyre made for a 156 mm rim will not fit a 140 mm one. Check the rim diameter before ordering: the 8.5x2 size alone is not enough.

Reinforced casing

The structure carries additional plies compared with the standard version. It resists punctures, kerb impacts and pinching at low pressure better.

This is the version to offer for intensive use, heavy loads, or a customer who keeps coming back to the workshop. In return, it is heavier and firmer.

Tubeless fitment

Fitted without an inner tube, on an airtight rim only. Replace the tubeless valve at the same time to guarantee the seal, and add sealant if the use requires it.

On a non-airtight rim, this tyre is fitted with an 8.5x2-6.1 inner tube.

Sold individually, fits front or rear.

The versions of this size

Wattiz stocks the 8.5x2-6.1 in several versions. The size and rim are identical, only the fitment and protection change.

PN-84 — tubetype
PN-120 — tubeless with anti-puncture gel

Tubetype and tubeless are not freely interchangeable: switching to tubeless requires an airtight rim, going back to tubetype requires adding an inner tube.
