8.5x2.0 Tube-Type Tire CST V3 Xiaomi/Dualtron mini

Size and rim

The 8.5x2-6.1 fits a 6.1 inch rim (156 mm).

The 8.5x2 comes in several rim diameters

This is the key point on this size. Depending on the machine, the 8.5x2 fits rims of 134, 140 or 156 mm.

A tyre made for a 156 mm rim will not fit a smaller one. Check the rim diameter before ordering: the 8.5x2 size alone is not enough.

Tubetype fitment

This tyre is fitted with an 8.5x2 inner tube for a 156 mm rim, to be ordered separately. Choose the valve according to access on the rim: straight or 90x90°. Check the angle on the original tube before ordering.

It is the easiest fitment to repair in the workshop: a puncture is fixed by replacing the tube, with no sealant and no airtight rim required.

Sold individually, fits front or rear.

The versions of this size

Wattiz stocks the 8.5x2-6.1 in five versions. The size and rim are identical, only the fitment, brand and construction change.

PN-26 — tubetype, CST brand
PN-84 — tubetype, Aoxin brand
PN-28 — tubetype, Xuancheng brand
PN-03 — reinforced road tubeless, Innova brand
PN-87 — tubeless, Chaoyang brand

Tubetype and tubeless are not freely interchangeable: switching to tubeless requires an airtight rim, going back to tubetype requires adding an inner tube.
