Complete rear wheel motor for the VSETT 11+ electric scooter

This part is the rear wheel motor for the VSETT 11+, supplied fitted in its aluminium rim, which is made of two half-shells. The tyre and inner tube are not included: complete the wheel with the tyre setup of your choice.

Electrical specifications

The motor runs on 72 V and delivers 2000 W of rated power, with 3480 W at peak. As the VSETT 11+ is a dual-motor machine, the combined rated power of both wheels reaches 4000 W. Check that your controller can handle the peak current draw before carrying out the replacement.

Connection

The wiring harness is 100 cm long, which is enough to reach the controller without an extension cable on a standard factory setup. The three phases connect via ring terminals to a three-post terminal block supplied with the motor: a two-piece terminal block, three flange nuts and two fixing screws are included. This type of connection handles high current better than a pin connector and can be cleanly disconnected in the workshop.

Fitting

Check the direction of rotation before tightening: a motor fitted the wrong way round runs in reverse and distorts the feedback to the controller. Tighten the axle nuts to the torque specified by the manufacturer and check the cable routing so that it does not rub against the fork or the swingarm.
