8.5x2 Solid Tire for Xiaomi M365

The wheel has been an invention that revolutionized the history of human technologies.

Since its inception, humanity has never stopped improving its characteristics.

From the car to the scooter, via the bike, the most common vehicles use them.

It is in this spirit that Wattiz operates, always seeking the most suitable models for the needs of your electric scooter, which in some cases becomes the true successor to the mountain bike.

Looking for a tire for your urban vehicle? In need of a wheel that lives up to its promises? What if you switched to the solid Xiaomi M365 8.5X2 inch tire?

Choosing a solid tire for your electric scooter

There are now different types of tires. The main ones are:

•

• A tire with a valve using an inner tube;

• The classic solid tire;

• The solid tire with holes;

A tire that lives up to its promises

A small revolution in the world of spare parts, the alveoled tire (known as the "tire with holes") is the best the industry has to offer.

Even if it is not yet available in all sizes and for all scooter models, it has made many Xiaomi fans happy.

Therefore, it is the performance of the solid tire with holes that most scooter enthusiasts choose to rely on.

Wearing out more slowly, it represents a good investment in the medium term, compared to a model using inner tubes and even a classic solid tire.

By optimizing the lifespan of the wheels, each alveolus provides a good amount of elasticity. Moreover, the alveoli are configured in a "honeycomb" pattern to absorb shocks.

Offering enhanced resistance and greater flexibility, the solid alveoled tire is the most obvious product choice when you want to minimize punctures. This is why it is referred to as an "increvable" tire.

However, there are a few drawbacks

This solid tire is not suitable for everyone, however. First, the price, which is higher than for a classic solid tire, represents an investment.

Next, if you are a DIY enthusiast, you may find it difficult to install this solid tire yourself. This is due to the hardness of its rubber, which makes fitting it onto your Xiaomi scooter more challenging.

Moreover, one of the main reasons for the resistance of this type of tire lies in the density of the material it is made of and its mass.

Your scooter is therefore well-equipped to maintain its inertia, which is great when you want to preserve your battery life.

However, this also means that your tire will be heavier.

Weighing 0.75 kg with a circumference of 8 inches and a diameter of 6 inches (i.e., 215 mm by 50 mm), this solid tire is mainly intended for users of Xiaomi electric scooters but will also suit other vehicles. You will find that it is compatible with:

•

• The Xiaomi Mija 365 scooter;

• The Wispeed T855 scooter;
